Variance Response Management Registered Nurse, Middlemore CentralWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Variance Response Management Team at Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive impact through their work, while being part of a supportive and collaborative healthcare environment.Key Responsibilities:As a Registered Nurse in the Variance Response Management Team, you will:Utilize your knowledge and complex nursing judgment to assess health needs, provide care, and support individuals in managing their health.Practice independently and collaborate with other health professionals to deliver quality care.Delegate tasks and direct Enrolled Nurses and Clinical Support Workers to ensure optimal patient care.Be part of a team nursing model across various acute, inpatient services, responding to Variance Indicator Scores (VIS) as defined by Care Capacity Demand Management (CCDM) and the Safe Staffing Programme.Precept new staff, undergraduate, and graduate nurses, providing education and support.About You:We are looking for someone who:Is confident in managing IT applications to identify and allocate resources for clinical responses.Demonstrates expertise in setting standards and managing nursing practices to achieve these.Shows personal sincerity, integrity, honesty, and reliability in all aspects of care.Exhibits empathy and respect for individuals, ensuring a compassionate approach to patient care.Essential Requirements for the Role:Post Graduate Certificate or Diploma.A minimum of 2 years of post-registration experience.High-level written and verbal communication skills.Strong priority-setting and time management abilities.Excellent problem-solving and planning skills.Why Join Us?Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic healthcare team that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those we care for.
