Southern Cross Brightside Hospital in Epsom, Auckland has 33 in-patient beds and 6 day-stay chairs. Surgical specialities include Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynaecology, General Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Our hospital features an intermediate care facility, a specialised post-operative ward for patients with medical conditions or surgical issues that require an enhanced level of monitoring and care. The beds are equipped to support invasive monitoring, medical infusions, and a 24-hour monitoring service, with specialised nurses with the knowledge and skills to deliver a more sophisticated level of care as required.
Credentialled practitioners and their patients have access to four advanced operating theatres, with special features such as a visual/digital theatre, laminar flow and state-of-the-art theatre equipment. Each of these theatres is supported by the latest sterilisation and anaesthetic technologies and systems.
