The Opportunity
Working in Theatre where our surgical procedures include Cardiothoracic surgery, Orthopaedics, Spinal, General and Paediatrics, Urology, Plastics, Maxilla Facial, ENT, and Dental.
We are currently seeking a casual Registered Nurse – Theatre.
Reporting to the Charge Nurse – Theatre, the Registered Nurse – Theatre is responsible for scrubbing and circulating for a variety of surgeries.
To be successful in this role you will:

A minimum of 12 months' experience in a similar role or working environment, where you have had similar responsibilities and you are comfortable scrubbing for a variety of surgeries;
Have a current New Zealand Nursing Registration (APC);
Understand that the key to success lies in our team operating in collaboration with one another and you will have the ability and disposition to enhance cooperation and teamwork;
Be known for your clear and professional communication skills and your ability to remain calm and collected in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
