The successful applicant will ideally have experience in chemotherapy delivery although we are willing to train the right person. This is a part time position with rostered day shifts between Monday to Friday and the opportunity to pick up extra shifts if desired.
Key responsibilities of the role: Responsible and accountable for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of safe and appropriate patient/client-centred nursing care. Mo tatou Ratonga | About our Service Thames is a modernised 50 bed secondary hospital, 100 kilometres north of Hamilton. We have a 24 hour emergency department, inpatient unit, ambulatory surgery, outpatient clinics and rehabilitation services. The hospital also provides laboratory and radiology services, including CT.
It is classified as a rural hospital and is located at the foot of the beautiful Coromandel peninsula, with specialty services provided by our tertiary hospital Waikato. We serve the Thames, Coromandel Peninsula and Paeroa areas.
We pride ourselves on the provision of quality and patient focussed care and work in a true inter-disciplinary way with clinical and allied health team members. The hospital is an integral part of the community.
