We are looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse who can support our Tangata Whaiora and Kaimahi with improving the physical health outcomes for the people we care for. The role will have a specific focus on education, diet and nutrition and physical health checks.
Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience. A current New Zealand Health registration in Nursing. You must hold a current full New Zealand driver's licence. Knowledge, skills and experience in developing care plans, risk management plans, supporting other Registered Health Professionals and working with a multi-disciplinary team. An understanding of trauma-informed care and experience in working with people. Both de-escalation skills and relationship building skills. Ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment. You must hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one. An understanding and commitment to the principles of recovery. Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Maori and Pasifika are strongly encouraged to apply for this role.
