Registered Nurse Team Leader

About the position: In this role, you will be working with a team of Registered Nurses (RN Coordinators) to ensure quality nursing care is delivered to the people of Canterbury. You will manage teams of nurses to ensure they are supported in delivering excellent nursing care in the community.About you: You will be a Registered Nurse with strong communication skills, capable of providing mentorship, leadership, support, and education to a team of RNs, ENs, and HCAs. You should have a strong interest and experience in community nursing, along with demonstrated nursing leadership in the pursuit of nursing excellence.Minimum qualifications include excellent nursing knowledge, advanced nursing assessment skills, strong computer literacy, a valid work visa, current practicing certificate, and a full driving license. Experience in the following fields of nursing would be very beneficial:Palliative careComplex and non-complex wound careV.A.B and CVAD managementMedication management and continenceCritical thinking approach regarding service delivery and nursing careYou should be able to work in and lead a team.
