The acute team and the assertive intervention team are based at the Red Beach site however they cover the whole region. This is an exciting opportunity for clinicians to work with police officers and Kaimanaaki to support those who present to police in an urgent capacity but would in fact benefit from a more combined approach.About the Role and About YouWe are now recruiting for a Registered Nurse with significant mental health experience to join us on a permanent basis. This is a fast paced work environment providing short term, intensive and responsive assessment and treatment to those people who are acutely unwell. You will work closely with the Assertive Intervention team and have the opportunity to work in the newly developed Co Response Team based at North Shore police station.Excellent communication skills are a mustHigh levels of energy and enthusiasmNZ Registered Nurse (comp), with a Post Graduate Certificate in Mental HealthExperience in Mental Health as well as a current APCIn return we offer the chance to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
