Korero mo te turanga - About the role

The IOC supplies Registered Nurses to multiple areas across Base and Hawera hospital, including adult and paediatric wards, mental health, Emergency Department, neonatal and the High Dependency Unit. No two days are the same, so pool positions offer experienced nurses a new challenge and exposure to different work environments.

These positions are rostered and rotating – this includes weekend work and all shifts (morning, afternoon and nights).

We have 1.9 permanent FTE available (multiple positions, FTE negotiable).

Mou - About you

Are you an experienced RN who would embrace an exciting opportunity in a beautiful province with fantastic work life balance?

Do you have the following skills and attributes?

Understanding of systems used within the hospital – trendcare, concerto, iBA, medchart

Two years or more experience in an acute hospital

A focus on quality patient care and excellent nursing assessment

Desire to learn and grow through post graduate study and PDRP attainment

Please outline your skills in your application (ie: cannulation, CVAD certification, post graduate study / PDRP).
