Registered Nurse / Enrolled Nurse / RNAA - Theatre Location: Wairau Hospital, Blenheim Permanent part time and full time positions available 1FTE Enthusiastic RN or EN or RNAA - with Theatre experience Challenging environment with plenty of variety. Nga mohiohio e pa ana ki tenei mahi (About this position) Wairau Hospital Theatre Suite consists of 5 Operating Theatres with a Recovery Room, a Sterile Services department and Day Stay Unit.
Due to the increase in services we have a number of part time and full time positions available. These positions are based in the main theatre department where we provide public acute and elective services, as well as private cases. Shifts are rostered Monday-Sunday, with on call after hours and at the weekends.
Surgical specialties covered include: General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dental and Acute/Trauma.
Ko wai he kaitono totika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?) You will be an experienced Theatre RN, EN or RNAA with the ability to care for patients undergoing a variety of acute and elective surgical procedures.
Team work is key in the operating theatre; you will need to be a team-player with a collaborative attitude towards patient care.
