Registered Nurse / Enrolled Nurse / RNAA - Theatre
Location: Wairau Hospital, Blenheim
Positions Available: Permanent part time and full time positions available (1FTE)
About this Position The Wairau Hospital Theatre Suite consists of 5 Operating Theatres with a Recovery Room, a Sterile Services department and Day Stay Unit.
Due to the increase in services, we have a number of part time and full time positions available. These positions are based in the main theatre department where we provide public acute and elective services, as well as private cases.
Shifts: Rostered Monday-Sunday, with on-call after hours and at the weekends.
Surgical Specialties Covered: General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dental and Acute / Trauma.
Who is an Appropriate Applicant? You will be an experienced Theatre RN, EN or RNAA with the ability to care for patients undergoing a variety of acute and elective surgical procedures. Teamwork is key in the operating theatre; you will need to be a team player with a collaborative attitude towards patient care.
