The ideal candidate will possess the ability to provide recovery care for patients undergoing general anaesthetic, local anaesthetic and monitored sedation within the surgical ward catering to both adult and paediatric populations. Candidates for this position should have nursing experience in both surgical and medical setting. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 per year.
Qualification for Registered Nurse-PACU: Candidate must hold current registered nurse certificate. Demonstrate nursing experience in a surgical and medical setting. It must be committed to continuous quality improvement and personal development. Holds a post-anaesthesia care unit (PASU) nursing qualification. Responsibilities for Registered Nurse- PASU: Candidate is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anaesthesia in the post-anaesthesia care unit. Ability to monitor vital signs and assess patients condition post surgery. Work closely with other healthcare team members to guarantee the best care to optimal patient outcomes.
