It is essential to have a kind nature and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing clinical situations. Recent Perioperative nursing experience and sound clinical skills are essential, and recent, relevant PACU experience is critical in ensuring a smooth patient journey. Given the wide geographical area the hospital covers, there will be many opportunities for variety in your work which lends itself to both your professional and personal development. While this role is primarily based in Recovery, you should understand that you may be required to assist elsewhere in Perioperative as needed to ensure the smooth running of our service. You will also be required to work an on-call roster. This is a fixed term position to cover a period of parental leave by the incumbent.
