Registered Nurse, Pacu, Elective Surgery Centre

PACU - Elective Surgery Centre Permanent, full time (1FTE) Monday - Friday 8 hour shift or 10 hour shift Located within Totara Haumaru campus, ESC has four operating theatres, 12 PACU beds, 5-day stay chairs and 6 pre-admission rooms.

Totara Haumaru is a new state-of-the-art facility being built on our North Shore Hospital campus - overlooking the incredible, volcanically formed Lake Pupuke - just a stone's throw away from our world-famous Waitemata Harbour and some of the region's most spectacular beaches.

Totara Haumaru is due to open in 2024 and will provide up to eight extra operating theatres, four new endoscopy suites and up to 150 new beds helping us meet the needs of our vibrant, fast-growing and culturally diverse population of over 643,000 people.

The successful candidates will provide patient postoperative care for surgical patients in Orthopedics, Gynaecology, Urology, ORL, General Surgery, and Plastics.

It is essential for this role to have a minimum of two years NZ PACU experience or high dependency unit experience, excellent communication skills, current APC, and the ability to manage a busy workload.
