We cater for all age groups from neonates to elderly and have specialty clinics that include Otology, Head & Neck Oncology, Sleep disorders, Paediatric airway, and Voice clinics that are all supported by a range of health professionals including the ORL Head & Neck Nurse Specialist.
Ko wai koe About You We have an opportunity for an RN to join our service and work with the team to develop their skills and leadership capabilities.
It is expected you will work collaboratively with your nursing colleagues, hospital aides, and the Charge Nurse Manager to coordinate patient flow and assist medical staff to enable smooth running of our outpatient clinics.
You will maintain the clinic environment to facilitate patient flow, directing Hospital Aids and Enrolled Nurses as required and communicate effectively with patients (including hearing impaired, dysphasic, and aphasic) and colleagues.
To be successful, you will be keen to learn, organized, with the ability to engage a wide range of people alongside a sound clinical knowledge and skill base.
As a key stakeholder in our service, you will be committed to high standards of nursing care, with a focus on improving patient outcomes.
If you are an enthusiastic, motivated nurse who would enjoy working in this specialty area, this could be a great opportunity for you. You will also complete the education required to run Nurse Led clinics.
You will be a NZ Registered Nurse and hold a current APC. The role will be working 8-hour shifts with rostered start times of 0800, 0830, and 0900 between Monday and Friday.
