Mo te turanga | About the role An exciting opportunity has become available for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our Operating Theatre, you will be joining our passionate and multi-disciplinary team at Rotorua/Taupo Hospitals.
The RN is responsible and accountable for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation in conjunction with working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care and a safe client journey across the care continuum.
Primary responsibility is to ensuring safe patient care throughout their perioperative continuum. Part time permanent role available, nine days a fortnight. Hours of work: Monday to Sunday, with on-call work mixed in with morning and afternoon shifts. Mo koe | About you You should be:
Conscientious and highly motivated. A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to speak up for patient safety. NZ full driver's license or working towards this. You would be:
NZ Qualified Registered Nurse holding an annual practicing certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand. Preferably with at least 2 years Operating Theatre experience.
