Support delivery of the influenza vaccine programme  Registered with theNursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC Mo te tunga |About the role As a memberof the Occupational Health nursing team, this role has shared accountabilityfor delivery of the occupational health and safety components of our Tangata(people) strategy.
Ko wai koe |About You TheRegistered Nurse, a part of the Influenza Vaccine Programme, is responsible forparticipating in the implementation and delivery of the activities of theOccupational Health Team aligned with the team's strategy and plans andprovision of the occupational health advice and service across Te Whatu OraWaitaha (Canterbury) and Te Tai o Poutini (West Coast).
Specifically,the role is responsible for participating in:
Supporting theOccupational Health team in liaison with Waitaha Canterbury to rollout theinfluenza vaccine programme to staffThe implementation anddelivery of activity and service aligned with the Occupational Healthpolicies, processes and procedures, as well Tangata (People) Strategy andplansParticipating in theimplementation and delivery of the kaimahi (staff's) health programmes of work, such as immunisation,health monitoring , contact tracing and pre-employment screening whererequiredFromJuly 2022 the Canterbury DHB transitioned across to Te Whatu Ora - Health NZ.This is a great opportunity to make a difference at a time of significantchange in the healthcare sector.
