The Opportunity Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral is looking for nurses interested in making a difference in the acute presentations of mental health whaiora and their whanau. The Crisis Resolution Service (CRS) is looking to employ nurses who have a desire to provide support through acute assessments, risk management, and engagement with community organisations for whaiora presenting in distress after hours. This position is a shift work position, covering the after-hours shifts, assessing both new referrals to the service and supporting the community teams with any after-hours support that is required. Ideally, you'll have a proficient or expert PDRP and a good understanding of the Mental Health Act, although you can be supported to develop these skills in the team if required.
