Registered Nurse Medical Admissions & Planning Unit Nelson Hospital Permanent 0.7FTE position (working 56 hours a fortnight) Medical, emergency, cardiology, or other acute care experience is required Nga mohiohio e pa ana ki tenei mahi (About this position) Nelson Hospital's Medical Admissions and Planning Unit (MAPU) provides acute inpatient care for adults who present with a wide range of medical and cardiac conditions. With a target length of stay of 36 hours, MAPU is a dynamic clinical environment where you will have plenty of opportunity to utilise your clinical skills. Shifts are rostered and rotating across 7 days.

If you have a current NZNC registration, a practising certificate and medical, cardiac, or acute nursing experience, come and join the MAPU team. It will be important that you are committed to providing patient centred care and be a team player who enjoys keeping up to date with best practice.
