While we are preferably seeking a full-time permanent nurse to join us, if you're after part-time hours, let us know in your cover letter what you're looking for.Working in a team of nurses and health workers, you will assess the growth and development of Tamariki and be a trusted clinical advisor, supporting whanau in how they choose to raise their Tamariki. You will foster relationships and develop rapport with whanau in the community, taking a holistic approach to the provision of care, understanding the complexities involved to enable culturally appropriate care.You'll truly never know the difference you'll make, providing that one piece of health promotion advice in a compelling way or following your gut and making a referral could make the difference of a lifetime.Having autonomy to make decisions is something that many of our Nurses highlight in this role. Once you've been signed off after orientation, working in a community means you will work on your own for the most part.Pay rates for our Registered Nurses are between $62,911 ($31.84 per hour) and $90,099 ($45.60 per hour) depending on experience.Being a Plunket Nurse role isn't just weighing babies!
