About the role Kaikoura Health Te Ha O Te Ora is looking for a Registered Nurse to join their wonderful rural kapa team!
These roles will suit experienced Registered Nurses who display a caring and flexible approach to patient care.
You will enjoy working within a close-knit team of healthcare professionals, while also working autonomously as you support and manage patients' health and wellbeing in both the long-term care and the medical acute areas.
As a Registered Nurse, you will need to be able to work across all shifts including nights and weekends and be part of an on-call roster.
This role will cover a wide variety of nursing duties including acute and emergency care, palliative care, respite care, day procedures including infusions, and providing support to the independent midwife in our birthing unit; along with providing care to our residents in the Rest Home.
This is an excellent opportunity to expose yourself to a variety of clinical conditions you may not otherwise see if you were in a large hospital setting.
