Through integration and collaboration, we're building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whanau-centred care, and excellence.About the role:Provide for acute medical and rehabilitation services, for adults of all ages across a wide variety of specialtiesCollaborate with medical staff, charge nurse managers, other nurses, a service educator, ward receptionists, social workers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech language therapistsAssist with ambulance transfersThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorshipMinimum Requirements:Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APCMust already hold the right to work in New ZealandDemonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionalsExcellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skillsThe ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focusedPrevious experience in an acute setting would be an advantageCompetency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growthExperience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settingsWorking for Health New Zealand:Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
