Through integration and collaboration, we're building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whanau-centred care, and excellence.About the role:Provide for acute medical and rehabilitation services, for adults of all ages across a wide variety of specialties.Collaborate with medical staff, charge nurse managers, other nurses, a service educator, ward receptionists, social workers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language therapists.Assist with ambulance transfers.This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.Minimum Requirements:Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC.Must already hold the right to work in New Zealand.Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals.Excellent time management, interpersonal, and organisational skills.The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution-focused.Previous experience in an acute setting would be an advantage.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New Zealand:Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
