About the role
As a Registered Nurse in our fast-paced DOSA unit, you will provide exceptional patient care from admission to discharge.
You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care, identifying potential medical complications and providing interventions, treatments and therapies. 
Your practice will be in line with the code of conduct and professional boundaries of the nursing professional body.
This is a permanent position for 64 hours per fortnight and is located at Wakefield Hospital in Newtown, Wellington.

As a Registered Nurse, you be professional, motivated and enthusiastic. You will have excellent communication skills and provide an exceptional standard of care to our patients. You will also demonstrate and have the following skills and experiences:
Registered Nurse with current NZ Nursing Council APC Demonstrated nursing experience in a surgical/medical setting preferred Committed to continuous quality improvement and personal development Day Surgery and stage two and three recovery experience preferred Leading through our values
