We offer a supportive and family-orientated working environment with handy free parking, chef-prepared meals, and a team of passionate and experienced people to work with!We are looking for two experienced registered nurses to join our kaimahi/team delivering maternity care in this primary care setting.As a nurse in our team, you will support our staff midwives by delivering high quality, whanau-centered care to postnatal mama and their pepi.Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of maternity care, including clinical, educational, and supportive functions, as well as providing support (when necessary) for our Lead Maternity Carer (LMC) community who use our facility for labour and birth.This role requires a strong commitment to ensuring the safety, well-being, and informed choices of whanau.This is a position for a registered nurse who holds a current Nursing Council of New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate and ideally has previous experience in a labour and birth, postnatal care or NICU/NBU setting.We are committed to developing our staff and offer a range of benefits and opportunities including:Competitive remuneration packageSecure on-site parkingA supportive, friendly environment, where people love coming to workDelicious meals provided throughout the working dayOpportunities for professional and personal developmentNga pukenga me nga wheako | Essential skills/experience for the role:A passion for high quality maternity care in a dynamic environmentCurrent NZ Nursing Registration and practicing certificateExperience learning and using electronic patient management systemsExcellent supportive, engaging and positive team skillsA commitment to professional practice, and on-going professional and personal developmentThe initiative and ability to contribute to and support best practice standardsCompassion, empathy, and a whanau-centered approachWe have two permanent positions available.
The role will cover day and night shifts, with an on-call component.
