The Role: As a Registered Nurse with Oceania based at Whitianga, you will have the opportunity to practice at full scope within a nurse-led service. Your clinical expertise and judgment will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care and support to our residents. You will coordinate daily care needs, inspire others, and build strong connections and relationships with our residents and their families.
What You'll Be Doing: Coordinating the daily care needs of our residents while inspiring and supporting othersProviding comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions, both independently and collaborativelyMaking critical decisions regarding resident care and demonstrating autonomyBuilding connections and relationships with residents and their families (and allied health professionals in the community)Providing leadership and guidance to care staff and team members.What You'll Bring: A current New Zealand Annual Practising CertificateA commitment to delivering excellent servicePrevious experience using clinical systemsDesirable: InterRai experience (but not essential)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsEffective time management abilitiesThe capability to coach and mentor other staffFlexibility to work on a rostered shift basisJob Details: Competitive hourly rate of $36.33 to $51.17 based on experienceMinimum of 32 hours per weekFortnightly roster includes weekends and night shiftsWhat We Offer: Competitive remuneration package and Birthday LeaveA safe and healthy working environment with access to a free, confidential support serviceOpportunities for ongoing development and career progressionEmployee shares, at no cost, for permanent employeesAccess to a range of great staff discounts with our suppliersNo matter your role within the Oceania team, we all share the same dedication to providing expert and personalised care for the people that once cared for us.
