Located within the community in Rotorua, the residence provides support for people who have complex needs beyond the normal capability of residential mental health providers.Its name means outstretched hands and it's a place where people from within the Lakes rohe can rebuild their lives and go back to the community.By utilising different skills, knowledge, and experiences (personal and professional) we offer our whai ora support to build daily routines, offering on-going tools and encouragement to develop, grow and flourish.In this role, you will utilise skills and knowledge in your chosen registered field to support the plans for whai ora within the service. This means working alongside Kaimahi (residential/peer support Workers), Seniors, and Team Manager, effectively ensuring service meets whai ora outcomes.You will work directly with the whai ora, identifying strengths, goals, and issues. Along with this, you will also be coordinating (key working) allocated whai ora; entry, client pathway, reviews, external client meetings as well as exit.Be registered and have a current practicing certificate in the following field:NursingFull NZ Drivers Licence.Hold a valid/current work visa, residency, or citizenship.Have client-centred, recovery-focused approach.
