Job description Mo te turanga | About the opportunity Morning shift (7:00am to 3:15pm)
Night shift (11:00pm to 7:15am)
 8 days per fortnight of set shifts with every second weekend off (One morning shift and 7 Nocte shifts)
Week one: Tuesday-nocte,  Wednesday-nocte,  Thursday-nocte and Sunday-nocte
Week two: Monday-nocte, Thursday-morning, Friday-nocte and Saturday-nocte At Arvida, our model of care is underpinned by our resident-led approach and Attitude of Living Well. Our Registered Nurses lead clinical excellence through assessments, planning, and delivery of care according to accepted nursing practices and standards
You will be responsible for leading, supervising, and guiding other members of the team, and ensuring medical instructions and procedures are correctly administered, documented, and monitored. Each day you will be providing a proactive and person-centric service by communicating with residents and family and participating in continuous improvement and quality initiatives. Qualifications To tatou kaitono pai | Our ideal candidate must have NZQA level 7 (e.g. bachelor's degree, graduate certificate, graduate diploma)A current practicing certificateFlexibility to pick up different shiftsTeam leadership skillsHonesty and integrityGood customer serviceExcellent interpersonal, organisational and problem solving skillsAlignment with our values and purposeExperience in Palliative Care, Dementia, and InterRAI is preferred but not essentialHe aha ta maatau e tuku | What we can offer At Arvida, we are passionate about people - both residents and our team members.
