Registered Nurse/Health Consultant - Waikato Region

About the role: We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an outstanding health professional to join us in the role of Health Consultant/Registered Nurse. In this supported autonomous role, you will be delivering first aid training and health screening services across the Waikato region. You will be working a guaranteed minimum of 80 hours per fortnight, with twice monthly Saturday work (if working full-time). We also have part-time roles available.
Key responsibilities: The delivery of health education one to one, and in a group setting The delivery of health screening services and vaccinations, at worksites and Life Care venues The ability to work in a supported autonomous role Some work-related travel including overnight stays The successful candidate will have: A current New Zealand Registered Nursing qualification Fluent in both written and verbal English to be able to deliver training to NZQA standards to students Ideally a vaccination certificate A current clean Full New Zealand Driver Licence Ability to meet Ministry of Justice security check A passion for people and preventative health care Strong computer literacy in basic Microsoft systems and experience in health applications would be beneficial Benefits: A full and thorough induction programme Company vehicle (for work use), mobile phone, laptop and other tools of the trade High job satisfaction No night shift work Competitive salary Generous daily meal and beverage allowance when travelling Employee discounts through BOOST Anniversary voucher Wellbeing benefit Employee Assistance Program (EAP) support A positive, fun, and passionate work environment where we want our people to thrive through support and continuous development About us: Life Care Consultants provides first aid training and health screening services to clients all over New Zealand.
