Hawera Hospital is an accredited level three rural hospital in South Taranaki. It is a one hour drive from New Plymouth and is situated 71.3 Kilometers from Taranaki Base Hospital; the main regional hospital of Te Whatu Ora Taranaki. Hawera hospital provides essential services to the people of South Taranaki, including 24-hour emergency care from a rural emergency department and medical and AT & R care from an inpatient ward. These jobs are rostered with rotating shift patterns, and staff will be required to work at Hawera acute services.
