We are seeking applications from registered nurses to join our dynamic Hawera Hospital Team. Hawera Hospital is an accredited level three rural hospital in South Taranaki. It is a one hour drive from New Plymouth and is situated 71.3 Kilometers from Taranaki Base Hospital; the main regional hospital of Te Whatu Ora Taranaki. Hawera hospital provides essential services to the people of South Taranaki. The inpatient services provided by this hospital includes 24-hour emergency care from a rural emergency department and medical and AT & R care from an inpatient ward. These jobs are rostered, and rotating shift patterns and staff will be required to work at Hawera acute services. Ideally candidates will have: A passion for rural health Acute emergency and medical experience Has undertaken Post Graduate studies or engaging in same Possesses a strong focus on patient assessment. Adaptability and flexibility Motivation and self direction. Be committed to self directed learning.
