We have dedicated full patient resuscitation, specialised triage, rapid assessment, acute, sub-acute and paediatric areas. Our department carries out all acute care, including full patient resuscitation facilities, management of trauma, fractures, injuries etc. The ED's vision is to be a centre of clinical care and customer service excellence. We pride ourselves on having a strong focus on customer service and its success is reliant on effective communication and teamwork.This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse wanting to develop their skills in the area of emergency department nursing. We offer a number of educational opportunities including: a comprehensive orientation programme; on-going development in emergency nursing skills e.g. Trauma Nursing Core Course, Triage Course, and Advanced Life Support and there are opportunities for ED specific post-graduate study via SIT.
