Supportive Team Culture KiwiSaver + Phone + Laptop Full Time Role based in Taranaki About the role | He korero whakamarama mo tenei turanga We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse - Clinical Team Leader to lead our team of Recovery Facilitators in providing exceptional mental health and residential services. This leadership role requires you to oversee day-to-day clinical management, ensuring person-cantered, high-quality care is delivered to individuals within our mental health residential facilities. You will lead and mentor a team of Recovery Facilitators, supporting the health and well-being of clients and their whanau while ensuring clinical standards, contractual obligations, and sector requirements are met. You will also play a key role in liaising with external stakeholders, including DHBs, funders, and other service providers, to support integrated care for clients. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, clinical standards, and organisational policies. Lead and support a team of Recovery Facilitators to provide safe and high-quality clinical care. Conduct regular mental health and physical assessments for clients. Provide clinical debriefs, mentorship, and training to staff as needed. Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including DHB clinical teams and other providers. Collaborate on clinical policy development and review existing practices to ensure ongoing improvement. Support business development initiatives and lead the implementation of new services. Oversee medication management, audits, and clinical reviews. Natural leadership style, with a demonstrated history of being able to manage hard decisions Effectively manage team processes, culture, and wellbeing What you will bring | Nga tohungatanga mo tenei turanga Registered Nurse with a current APC (Mental health scope of practice) At least 3 years of experience in mental health. Experience in leadership roles is essential. Full driver's license is required. Post-graduate studies in mental health or addiction would be a bonus. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills. Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, treatment plans, and clinical oversight. Experience working with diverse populations and knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles. Work Schedule This role is primarily Monday to Friday (8-hour days); however, there may be times when you need to work outside of these hours to support the team.
