The position is located at Rotorua Hospital within the Hospital and Specialist Service here at Te Whatu Ora Lakes. This exciting opportunity is permanent 0.4 FTE and would suit a Registered Nurse who has superior organisational and analytical skills.Mo te turanga / About the roleThis role will ensure procurement is efficient, effective and supports an assessment process with a view to maximise opportunities for rationalisation, waste reduction, and standardisation of the range of products available for use. Specifically, the role will focus on identifying and securing the right products and or services, their assessment for clinical acceptability, commercial advantage and overall optimum value through on-going product review, appropriate evaluation and the necessary actions to achieve these.The successful applicant will be experienced in hospital service delivery, and will be working with a wide range of stakeholders both internally, regionally and nationally therefore, astute relationship building and interpersonal skills are essential.
