Here's what you can expect:Your Role:We have a 12-month maternity leave position available at City Doctors White Cross in Palmerston North, offering 0.8 FTE. Our clinic operates from 8 am to 8 pm, Monday to Sunday, so nurses need to support the clinic during these hours, with a minimum expectation of 32 hours per week.Perform accurate nursing assessments and provide evidence-based interventions.Deliver ongoing, culturally safe care that meets patient and family needs.Maintain precise documentation and promote patient education.Participate in team discussions, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives.Requirements:Advanced experience in Acute Nursing.Current registration as a New Zealand Registered Nurse.Previous urgent care facility experiences are advantageous.Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.Awareness of ACC and PHC.Familiarity with MedTech 32 or MedTech Evolution (or similar) preferred.Commitment to health equity and cultural competency, with an understanding of Tikanga Maori, Kawa Maori, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.Legal rights to work in New Zealand.As a nurse at Tamaki Health, you will experience a supportive journey filled with opportunities.
