About the Role
Right now, we're looking for Registered Nurses with lots of flexibility and experience to become part of the casual nursing team. You'll enjoy the flexibility of a truly varied role – one moment you could be working in the medical ward, next mental health, surgical ward or undertaking inter-hospital patient transfers. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within all wards/departments within the hospital and community settings.
For this role, you will need:
NZ Nursing Council Registration and a current Annual Practicing Certificate
A minimum of one-year post graduate experience
Recent experience in a clinical area
The ability to work under pressure
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Flexibility of shifts – morning, afternoon, nights or part shifts
Eligibility to work in New Zealand
Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.

Salary Range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the Nursing Collective Agreement and the salary will be in accordance with the Pay Scale and experience.
