Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Care Unit, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac patients, including assessment, monitoring, and management of their conditions.Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.Educate patients and their families on cardiac health, treatment options, and lifestyle changes.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility policies.Participate in continuous education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge in cardiac care. Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Zealand.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) will be considered.Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a cardiac or critical care setting.BLS and ACLS certification required.Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
