QUALIFIED REGISTERED NURSE ANAESTHETIC ASSISTANT Health New Zealand Lakes
Full or 0.9 FTE permanent role available (72 – 80 hours per week)
An exciting opportunity has become available to join our passionate and multi-disciplinary team at Rotorua/Taupo Hospitals Operating Theatre Suites. If you are qualified NZ RNAA (Registered Nurse Anaesthetic Assistant) or are an RN with an Anaesthetic assistant qualification, we would like to hear from you.

Mo te turanga / About the role

Primary responsibility will be to check and maintain all anaesthetic equipment; prepare, set up and assist/support the Anaesthetist to ensure safe patient care throughout their operation.
Hours of work: Shift work on a rotating roster, Monday to Sunday, with on-call work.

You should be

Conscientious with the ability to speak up for patient safety.
Be a team player and come every day with a positive attitude.

NZ full driver's license or working towards this.


You would be

NZ Qualified Registered Nurse with Nursing Council of New Zealand.
Qualified as an Anaesthetic Assistant.

Awhe utu / Salary range $86,519 - $106,739 (step 3 -7 NZNO collective) pro-rated to hours worked.
