Nurses in General Practice enhance community health and equity, providing advanced care within multidisciplinary teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join us at Albany Family Medical Centre to contribute clinical excellence and community health improvement. You will work alongside skilled colleagues, supported by dedicated medical center leadership.
This is a permanent part-time position working 31 hours across 4 days from Monday to Friday. A current New Zealand practicing certificate with prior experience in a medical centre (desirable)Experience in primary care setting preferredCurrent vaccinator certificate - working toward completion or currentYour practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.Postgraduate nursing qualifications (or if you are working towards one) and/or specialisation is highly desirable; such as travel or occupational health, prescribing or long-term conditionsWilling to continually learn and improveExcellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to build strong rapport with team members.You will ideally hold current CPR certificateImmunisation and smear taker certificates are desirable but not essentialTo apply online, click the Apply Now button below.
