About the role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our fabulous team at Somervale in sunny Mt Maunganui. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract from end November 2024 to December 2025.
This role is working 40hrs per week - Wednesday to Sunday 7am to 3.30pm, so you must be able to work every weekend.

Clinical assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care.
Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills
Work collaboratively with other team members
Develop and review care plans in consultation with our residents and their families.
Provide compassionate and high-level care.
About youYou pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service to our residents and have empathy for the older person. You also have:
Current Practicing Certificate and first aid certificate
Strong nursing experience, aged care - even better!
InterRai qualified is desirable.
Up to date knowledge of wound care management
Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.
You are also a team player with a caring, respectful manner which is important in our aged care environment.
