You will be joining a supportive and social midwifery team ready to welcome you and your family to Australia.
Where you will be working:
Tamworth Hospital is a major referral hospital located in the northern region of the Hunter New England Local Health District. Our 288-bed facility includes a high demand emergency department, Intensive Care, rehabilitation services, a Brain Injury Unit, Diabetes Centre, and high dependency unit. Our Maternity service has a 20-bed antenatal and postnatal unit; 4 birthing suits and 2 assessment rooms; and a 7-day Home Midwifery Service. We look after low to high-risk pregnancies, with birthing numbers sitting just under 1200 per year.

As these roles are accepting overseas candidates with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) and ANMAC assessment for ANZSCO code 254111 you are required to have a minimum of two years' experience as a Registered Midwife.
Additional Information:
If you are a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport you are eligible for permanent employment.
We are also offering sponsorship to temporary visa holders who hold an appropriate visa, in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part time opportunities.
