The remuneration range for this role is $76,235 - $100,862 and is covered by the collective agreement: CEA MERAS MECAPosition Description Registered Midwife Puawai Aroha Maternity. Puawai Aroha Maternity Unit, Te Whatu Ora Tairawhiti might just be the right place for you.
We currently have a number of positions available. The FTE is negotiable to provide the ideal work/life balance enabling you to enjoy all the Tairawhiti region has to offer, while providing maternity care to a community like no other! If successful, you would be working in partnership with the women of Tairawhiti and their whanau alongside their LMC's.
We provide primary and secondary care within a collegiate and supportive environment. We have approximately 700 births per year in our culturally rich region.
Puawai Aroha Maternity Unit boasts a relaxed atmosphere with five birthing suites and eight ante/postnatal rooms which are well-resourced to provide high quality and safe care from our friendly team.
These birthing suites and postnatal ward are situated together, so you will be able to work across all areas of your scope of practice which would enable you to meet all your recertification requirements.
We also run an antenatal clinic catering for the needs of pregnant women referred to us for a consultation or transfer of care from the LMC to our secondary care services.
