We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Professional to join our supportive, friendly and multidisciplinary North team within the Adult Community Mental Health Service at Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty.
Our North team in the Bay of Plenty provides quality Mental Health Community Care to the Adult population of Tauranga out to Waihi Beach. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly supportive and friendly team.
The successful applicant will be joining a multi-disciplinary team of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists. The team's focus is on the Recovery Model for individuals who have a serious mental disorder. The aim of this team is to work with referrers, health partners, families/whanau and the community to provide effective triage, assessment and management of Tangata Whaiora who are requiring our services.
We work alongside Tangata Whaiora with the core values of patient centred care, and we achieve this with a focus on maximising health while promoting independence in the community. The focus is to deliver high quality care to the growing population in the Bay of Plenty.
He korero mou - About You
The ideal applicant would have a minimum of three years of experience in Mental Health, including Community based care. You need to be willing to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
