You will be a role model for all within your home.
Accountable to deliver the high standard of care to the children and to have aspirational outcomes for them.
Responsible and accountable to safeguarding and protecting the children within your care.
To develop connection with children before supporting them with correction.
To manage and mentor the team around the child, to organise and develop working patterns and lead with a child focussed approach.
To support the team around you to complete their training and personal development.
What do you need?
A minimum of 3 years' experience working within a similar environment at a Senior level.
Strong knowledge of legislation and safeguarding procedures such as The Children's Homes Regulations & Quality Standards.
Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent to.
Working towards or completed Level 5 Leadership & Management in Children's Residential Care or equivalent to.
Fully committed to achieving the best outcomes for children.
Full driving licence is essential.
Ability to work flexibly and carry out on-call duties.
