Where you can collaborate and have a say about the resources we purchase, the day-to-day programme, rituals and the setup to create a beautiful, homely and engaging environment for tamariki to explore with you?
We are a small charitable trust ECE which is non-profit; it is led by management who have an ECE degree and understand the nature of the mahi you do, works in the learning environment with you and supports you both professionally and personally. Supporting the wellbeing of our kaiako is just as important as for the tamariki.
We have a large outdoor area kept natural with wood chip, grass, gardens, a large sandpit with water pump and established large trees. We are inspired by Reggio and nature and take walks along the river bush areas right by our centre.
A fantastic team that is growing and evolving together to support and nurture tamariki with a range of needs and abilities. We provide an environment which meets the needs of all the tamariki to the best of our ability supporting neurodiverse tamariki and kaiako alike. Our team is a calm, relaxed and flexible team who works together for the daily needs of each other and the tamariki.
We are looking for a qualified and registered kaiako who is knowledgeable about Te Whariki , culturally responsive and passionate about working with a maximum of 32 tamariki aged 2 to 5 years old.
Full Pay Parity
Work 32 hours per week
Supportive of appointments and support a good work/life balance
