Due to an increase demand, in work load we are seeking a Registered Electrician to carry out tasks for a range of services in our electrical department.
ABOUT US: We are a small well-established company that provide first class service as best we can for Electrical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning services.
Our clientele ranges from residential, supermarkets, governmental agencies, AID agencies, Micro-brewery, retail stores, wholesale stores, food & beverage, hoteliers, holiday homes, accommodations both private and commercial.
JOB REQUIREMENT: · We require at a Minimum, a qualified NZ registered Electrician with a Current practice license · The applicant has to agree to a 3-year contract with the right to renew annually.
· Must provide all basic tools and electrical test equipment, Ammeter, volt meter, insulation resistance or installation tester or relevant · As the ideal candidate you are required to have a minimum of 5 years experience in servicing, maintenance, repair, troubleshoot, installation and commissioning along with a proven track record in fault finding within residential and commercial environments.
Key requirements are as follows but not limited to: · Flexible in working during weekends or after-hours to complete task with deadlines or attend callouts when required.
(employees are rewarded for their commitments) · Working hours are from 8am-430pm, time sheets to be filled in daily with job cards & supplier invoices handed in for invoicing.
· NZ Electrical Qualifications or relevant & endorsed by EWRB.
· Ability to work unsupervised and have great time management skills, think out the box when required, Document potential problems as evidence for future disputes, good and constant communication with employer with regards to queries.
Take full responsibility for your own mistakes.
· An in depth understanding of client's request/demands in providing the best possible solution whether it be temporary or permanent then provision a plan to mitigate when necessary.
· Ability to promptly scope out task onsite for providing customers with a quotation proposal.
· Minimum of 5-Year experience working in Concrete masonry buildings, Steel frame buildings residential and commercial eg.
Form Steel, Cool stores/rooms, Hotels & Resorts WHAT'S ON OFFER: On top of the agreed pay rate per hour which will range between $24-$35 per hour pending your Qualifications & experience we will provide the following: · Work vehicle · Local Sim card with phone plan credit · Cover Annual immigration fees · Airfare cost from Auckland airport to Rarotonga and at expiry of your contract Raro to Auckland for Applicant.
