Our strong delivery has led to increased opportunities and we have a strong committed pipeline of work.We are currently seeking a Registered Electrical Inspector (preferably with WELNetwork Approval) to carry out electrical and metering work in the Waikato region, including Category 1, 2 and 3 revenue metering work and EV charging installations. Full training will be provided as required. As a successful candidate, you will be motivated by achieving challenging targets and will be seeking a role where your initiative, productivity and strong work ethic is rewarded with opportunities, growth and advancement.The Skills we need our recruits to have:Versatility and flexibility to take on new field services tasks and changes.A positive and constructive attitude.Skills in dealing with the public and able to comfortably handle difficult people.A demonstrated knowledge of workplace health & safety requirements.Excellent numeracy, literacy and accurate data entry skills.An excellent approach to following health and safety guidelines.Experience with handheld data recording devices.Energy Industry experience.Familiarity with computer applications such as Microsoft Email, Excel, Word & Teams (preferable).Ultimately, you will be a positive, motivated and flexible team player with:The ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing random Drug and Alcohol testing.The drive to deliver quality, solution-focused customer service.A strong work ethic.A passion for safety.A full and valid New Zealand driver licence (or a valid International licence to be converted to a NZ licence within 1 year of arrival in New Zealand).Wells is committed to growing our team and provides support and development opportunities to the electricians we employ. Typically, you'll work a 40 to 45 hour week, with competitive market hourly pay rates dependent on Registration / Skills / Experience.
