Registered ECE Teacher | Busy Bees New Plymouth Are you looking for a vibrant centre full of aroha and positivity? Do you have a knack for turning everyday activities into exciting learning opportunities?
We are now on the lookout for a Registered Teacher to join our fantastic team of kaiako in our infants space! As a kaiako with us, you will have the incredible opportunity to inspire and empower tamariki, enriching their learning experiences and fostering their growth.
About us:
At Busy Bees New Plymouth we have three age appropriate spaces. Each space has their own outdoor area providing endless opportunities to explore the natural environment. We celebrate whakawhanaungatanga (relationships) by connecting with our community through multicultural celebrations and creating a strong sense of belonging. Some of our community relationships include weekly Playball sessions, children's yoga classes and fortnightly Kapa haka with Whaea Rae. We also have the local library bus visit the centre fortnightly and spend time at Chalmers Rest Home which the children and residents love. We are fortunate to be able to use our local walkway and park whenever possible.
Our ideal candidate will have:
A real love of respectful caregiving

Be empathetic, patient and genuinely love working with infants
Huge reserves of enthusiasm and energy
Competency in planning, curriculum and regular and emergent reviews
A personality that builds and develops strong relationships with staff and parents/whanau
An ECE or Primary teacher qualification and registration as an ECE teacher in New Zealand
A nurturing, caring disposition, and passion for supporting young children to thrive
The ability to build and maintain responsive relationships with children and their whanau
