We have an opportunity for a Qualified and Registered ECE teacher to join our Melville Early Childcare Centre.
In our Montessori classrooms, we nurture independence by allowing children to develop and learn through exploration and 'sensorial' experimentation. We also practice simple activities from everyday 'practical life' that are exciting to children. Most importantly, we are led by the interests of the child in whichever direction these interests might take us.
Whilst a Montessori qualification is desirable, what is essential is that you are a registered and qualified early childhood teacher. You will have a basic understanding of, and a willingness to study, learn and apply the Montessori teaching philosophy in our classrooms. Full training and support is given.
