Passion is at the core of our values, and employees are encouraged to pursue their passions in their work and contribute to the company's overall mission.The Regional Vice President, Strategic Accounts at Slingshot Biosciences will report to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and is responsible for developing and managing client relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring the success of client engagements. This individual will act as the primary point of contact between the company and its clients, working to understand client needs, deliver solutions, and achieve sales targets. The Regional Vice President, Strategic Accounts will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term client retention.Responsibilities:Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the East Coast to meet or exceed sales targets.Develop and execute regional sales strategies that align with overall company goals.Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients through networking, cold outreach, and lead generation activities.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers in the biotech, life sciences, diagnostics, and pharmaceutical sectors.Conduct sales presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the value of Slingshot Biosciences' solutions.Manage and grow relationships with existing clients in the East Coast to drive repeat business and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and challenges are addressed.Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services to existing clients.Develop in-depth knowledge of the East Coast market, industry trends, and key competitors.Collaborate with the marketing team to execute localized campaigns that target key prospects in the region.Communicate client feedback and insights to the marketing team to inform future product improvements.Accurately maintain sales pipeline data and provide regular reports on sales activities, progress, and forecasts.Track and analyze performance metrics to ensure sales goals are met and adjust strategies as necessary to optimize results.Attend regional industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and foster relationships with potential clients.Stay current on industry trends and competitor activity to position the company's offerings effectively within the marketplace.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferredMinimum of 7 years of experience in business development or sales within the biopharma industryProven history of achieving or exceeding sales targets and successfully managing client relationships.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; ability to translate complex solutions into compelling value propositions.Strong network of contacts in the life sciences and biopharma industry on the East CoastHighly motivated, independent, and able to work remotely while managing a large territory.Experience with SalesForce.com or similar CRMIn-depth knowledge of biotech trends surrounding CGT and experience selling into key accounts.Experience structuring and closing complex sales into the biopharma sector with a demonstrated track record of success.Demonstrated history of building and maintaining a high performance team.Nice-to-Have (but not required):Knowledge of Flow cytometry usage in Cell therapy processesStartup experience strongly recommendedWhat we offer at Slingshot:Stock Option PlanPaid Time Off (Vacation & Sick)Family LeaveLife InsuranceFully stocked break room with food, snacks and beveragesSlingshot Biosciences requires employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they have an approved medical or religious accommodation.
