Your new role: Providing advice and underwriting guidance on all personal and commercial insurance lines of businessTraining and upskilling local teams in all relevant general insurance productsDesigning and implementing new business products and updating existing policy wordingsCollaborating and fostering positive working relationships with current and potential direct clients, banks and insurance brokersProviding assistance and advice in all areas of insurance including Claims, Fronting arrangements, Reinsurance and policy administrationIdentifying market and industry trendsImportant for your success: Relevant insurance underwriting (personal and commercial lines at a senior level)Comprehensive understanding of key underwriting risk principlesAbility to build effective relationships internally and externally with colleagues, service clients, intermediaries and providers Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and empower underwriters NZ and Pacific Islands basedCollaborative and solutions focused mindsetThis is a unique opportunity where you can make a real difference.
